How
do I clean my Body Block?
|
|
We
recommend using mild soap and water. Finish the job with Plexus*.
Do not use abrasives or products based on ammonia, petroleum,
or alcohol.
|
*You can buy Plexus, a cleaner, protectant and polish for
plastics, directly from Summit Products. A 13 oz. can is
just $7.95 plus shipping. Just call or
contact us on-line to order today!

What
are the hinges for?
|
|
The
hinges make it easy to clean behind the shield. For vehicles
equipped with generator slide outs, the shield extends with
the slide out so that it can be tilted back for easy cleaning
of the back side. No lifting is necessary.
|
|
Why
does the trim not stick out like the deflectors found elsewhere?
|
|
The
carefully-contoured corners of the Body Block allow wind
to flow around it without creating howling noises or vibrations.
The deflectors are needed to actually create wind turbulence
to stop whistling noise.
|
|
Why
don't you offer armor for my gas puller?
|
|
We
would love to, however the armor on the front of the coach
will obstruct the airflow to the radiator. The result
is a hot engine. If we put enough holes in the armor
to accommodate the air flow, then it defeats the purpose of
the armor.
